When creating a Duplicate store you can link it to either the embedded Find duplicates server, running within Data Studio, or to a separate instance. By default, Data Studio will connect to the embedded instance, which runs automatically with the Data Studio service.

To change the default server location for Duplicate stores go to Settings > Workflow steps > Find duplicates. Enable ‘Use remote server as default’ and enter your remote Find duplicates server details. This will disable the default embedded server.
To configure a custom Find duplicates server for a Duplicate store, edit the Server location properties when creating a new Duplicate store in the Find duplicates step or when creating or editing a Duplicate store from the Duplicate stores screen.
