Performing regular data updates is an integral part of an effective data quality strategy for any organisation. Experian datasets are released to customers at different times of the year, and in differing cycles. Our Self Service Portal allows you to access and manage your data updates online and provides a number of benefits:

  • Instant, secure, 24/7 access to the latest data with no need to wait for a disc to arrive in the post
  • Time and cost savings by configuring Electronic Updates do the work for you by automatically downloading the latest data using our Windows Client or REST API capabilities
  • A faster and more flexible approach with our Electronic Updates also supporting manual data downloading

Getting access to Electronic Updates

If you do not already have access to the Self Service Portal, please contact regional support.

If you already have access to the Self Service Portal but cannot see the Address data tab in the left hand navigation menu, please contact regional support. Accessing Electronic Updates via this tab requires additional account configuration, and you must already have a license to use one or more Experian products as a prerequisite.

A token is required to make use of the automatic download and installation of reference data used by Experian on premise applications via the Windows client or REST API.
